Jump Back In The Alley and Nanny Goats.

Today's reasons to be cheerful (after yesterday's bigoted rant)

1) Casper the fluffy foster cat has come back to say for a week or so while his owner goes for respite care. (above)

2) Doris the other cat above does not have lung cancer. It's a miracle! I'd put her basket by the chimney and she was breathing in soot! That's why they stopped sending cats up to sweep the lumb, Dick Van Dyke, damn you.

3) Boiler health-check day, all's well, thank you British Gas.

4) A different man came out from B Gas re my no-water-in-kitchen issue. I remembered I have plumbing cover! Turns out its not an airlock its the tap. I'm not covered for that but he did it for me anyway, fitting a new 'reviver'. I was so grateful that I scoured my purse, pockets and jar for coins and made him take a tenner. He asked if he could use the loo (which hasn't been flushing well for a while recently) and then he fixed that for me too. There are really nice people about eh?

5) Got a new vacuum. I do realise how sad that sounds but the other one was only 4 months old and the wheel fell off last week, not from over-use I assure you. Straight swap, thank you. Argos.

6) Day off work, hoooooorah!

7) Am healthy and happy.

8) Going to see my steady boyfriend Stewart Lee in his show at the Stand this evening.

9) er, Birthday ...
