Back to the Mainland
On to Oban - good progress, then slowed by the tide so on with the motor again to give us a bit of assistance (Mr N had to depart on the 6pm train). Photo is of Duart Castle as we say cheerio to Mull. Nice ketch.
So, into Kerrara opposite Oban and the fuel berth before getting onto a pontoon. How come everyone's boat is bigger than mine? Size doesn't matter, surely? Cheers, John and hello to new first mate, Mr T who had travelled over from Dundee on a bus that made him queasy. This augers well, I thought. Still, I managed a haggis supper in Oban, and caught the end of the Liverpool game whilst supping a Belhaven "Best" or twa. Managed to get rid of the aftertaste with a Bunnahabhain back at the boat.
