Worlds apart together

Seems like 'connection' is a big theme for me.
This confluence of natural shell, carved shell (turned into a nightlight) and the globe (also used as a nightlight at my friend's, Christina Sun's house in New York City; see her website New York Harbor Sketchbook, with reflections in the glass shelf, is so lovely and mysterious. Like layers of worlds brought together so sing a new kind of silent aria in the dark.
