A Day Out In Norwich

Roaming Norwich for Blips...

I made this into a montage because I couldn't find one particular photo to sum up the day, so I chose a selection that I think represent it well...

Along each row, left to right, I think the titles explain enough...

Rob in H&M

He likes doing things like that. He saw the hat, marched towards it, grabbed it, stretched the elastic over his head (it was NOT designed for a guy), and posed. He then told me that it could be my Blip, but as you can see I wasn't prepared to stop at my first photo...

The Picnic

It consisted of a Boots Meal Deal (which I continue to find astonishingly good value) and a selection of things from Poundland, Rob ate half my pasta and most of my Kettle Crisps, I was not amused.

Rampant Horse Street

I just like the name, I have a feeling Norwich has a number of interesting street names, although I can't remember what any of them are!

The Bear T-Shirt (Before Purchase)

We entered Topman only to simultaneously make a beeline for this t-shirt. Rob IS a bear. It has been decided, by a number of people.

The Bear T-Shirt (After Purchase)

I wanted to get Rob to pose wearing it, however we were in the middle of Norwich and he didn't seem to keen to strip naked while he changed...

Martha:Straight

It's a line of jeans in Topshop, and my name. That's all.

Bus Journey Home

Rode home in rather depressing grey drizzle, however had The Boys Of Summer - Thing In Twos on repeat (good song, check it out), and Blipping to look forward to...

General Highlights Of My Day

1. Rob: I know her *pointing at girl singing and playing guitar on Gentleman's Walk

Me: Who is she?

Rob: Kalaina

Me: Yeah, but who is she?

Rob: My brother had sex with her

2. Bought the most beautiful pair of shoes in Zara, black, lace-up, suede pixi boots. I'm in love, despite the fact that I now have £3 to last me the rest of the month. Oops.

3. Standing at the bus stop, in the rain, with a jumper on my head and saw a 10 foot dinosaur on the back of a truck. Would have made a brilliant photo but it was gone before I could get my camera out. Shame.

So, a pretty awesome day in Norwich...
