Arklow Harbour
This morning dawned warm(ish) and sunny but with rain forecast for the afternoon I dashed into town with a list of errands to run, foremost of which was to book the venue and put out some fliers for a course in Photoshop which I am planning to run in a few weeks time. Missions all accomplished and who should I meet but an ex workmate. The conversation lasted over two hours while we drank coffee. Round to Arklow Harbour to shoot today's blip and home. The clouds have now arrived so it seems that I just bagged the photo in time.
Arklow is still a maritime town though the boat building industry has long gone and the fishing fleet is greatly reduced. We still have general cargo boats calling and a certain degree of maintenance tenders putting in for supplies for the offshore windfarm. So here it is, Arklow Harbour, or at least part of it, on a sunny Thursday morning.
