Kazando pre school

Our latest venture in Kazando is a little preschool for this very poor community.
Even though this area is within 10 km of the city, it is probably one of the poorest areas we work in.
In 2008 we had to supply them with maize to get them through the hungry season, last year we helped then build a dam and an irrigation system. We then supplied them with seeds and they were food secure. We also helped with a fish pond and fingerlings.
We then noticed that many whildren were not attending school, because few of the mothers had any education. We feel that this little spot, when supported will help everyone.
