Hands and a revelation

Hands fascinate me as much as faces do. I love watching people's hands and hope to photograph more in the months ahead.

After procrastinating for about 6 weeks I decided it was time to sew back a missing button on my shorts. I can sew but don't enjoy it. Listening to me argh and sigh, T offered to do the job for me. After twenty-two years together I've only just found out this man can sew, and expertly too. I don't know why that came as a surprise to me, but it did. After all, he used to do hair insertion on the wax figures at Madame Tussaud's in London, and also used to tie fishing flies. It's good to know there are still surprises after all our years together.
