Today's the day ................. for a walk into town

Had to do a few things in town this morning and because I was inspired by yesterday's blip by apolonia, I really looked at shop windows ..........

I did find a very funny one that sold everything a well-turned-out skateboarder should have including a trilby hat and sunglasses?! - and it had a washing line in the window with four pairs of underpants on it. But unfortunately it didn't make a very good photo.

So I decided on this gate in the end, which I thought was very artistic. It is at the entrance to one of the many Kendal yards - a narrow passage way off the main street leading into a little communal courtyard
