Sumptuous lily!

A very late night last night at the Regatta quiz night - 15 tables in a tiny pub meant that some people had to sit outside and get eaten alive by midges - though there was the opportunity for a bit of fiddling involving mobile phones. It is hilarious how heated some people get. Even more hilarious is the fact that every year the same team wins - the family of the quizmaster!! My husband finds this outrageous so refused to come but it just has to be taken in ones stride! My team came 3rd and we are the proud owners of a rather horrendous glass trophy! I was horrified to discover that I knew the answer to 'who was 10 ton Ted's rival' .....anybody else remember this!!! It's not something to be proud of and I shall keep you guessing for a bit!
Had tea with Annabel. Her garden is looking fantastic. She has a huge pond and a small ornate pond - this incredibly lush lily was the only thing floating in her small pond and just had to be blipped.
