Etyek Wedding

Today we visited the village of Etyek, a village in Fejér county, Hungary, about 30km from Budapest. The village lies in beautiful countryside surrounded by vineyards.

We were attending the outdoor wedding ceremony of Dóra and András, with the beautifully dilapidated Botpszta chapel as a picturesque backdrop. The chapel dates from 1765-75, established by Nazarene monks. The site was accessed by a little dirt track. A perfect setting for a delightfully informal wedding. Ildi's daughter Linda was the bridesmaid of her friend Dóra.
