First signs of Spring?

I couldn't believe my eyes today! I turned off the road and walked into the veld, to have a closer look at these trees. What a lovely surprise to see the first signs of life after the bitterly cold winter we had! I know it is still much too early, we are in for quite a few icy cold surprises in the weeks to come, but with a few nice days this week, the plants were the first to show their gratitude! The miracles of nature!! ;-)
