New Shoes

Perhaps it is fitting that I begin this blog-journey with a new pair of shoes, not that the shoes will be with me throughout. I bought them cheap at a sidewalk sale last night. They're cute, but I destroy shoes. I sent this picture to a friend of mine because every time I purchase a new pair of shoes, I think of him. A few years ago, he counseled me on appropriate footwear.. maybe I've learned my lesson?

After all, footwear is responsible for a lot more than you think. It supports your legs all the way through your spine and aids in posture. Bad shoes could lead to all sorts of body pains- not just horrible blisters on the heels. I always think it's funny how such little details can hugely impact the whole picture.
