Half AA battery? Hmm can't say I'd registered that such things exist.

This diminutive AA has been supplying energy for the transmitter of my dive computer. While it was working, the transmitter told my dive computer how much gas I had left in my cylinders. Quite a useful thing to know, as I realised when it started saying FAIL in the middle of a dive. Fortunately I have a back up gauge so it wasn't a disaster.

This 3v battery has been powering the transmitter, non stop for 102 weeks. Good job wouldn't you say? It's now off to the battery retirement bin at my local shop, for a well deserved rest.
