Octopus

The swell came back this morning so we opted for a quick dash to the wreck of the Glanmire, she's in 32m of water and always surprises me.

This is my third dive on her this year, the first was in terrible vis, the second was better and today was perfect! We had 10m visibility, or more, and got to see the enormous engine block, crank shafts and boilers. This octopus was sitting just off the wreck, well camouflaged against the pebbles.

The swell on the surface made for an interesting deco stop, it was like being on the steam horses carnival ride. Fortunately I didn't rack up too many stops.
