Kuglóf

There are many variations of this wonderful cake, often a ring or torus shape, but which in Hungary often takes the form of this large dome with a shiny brown crust. The moist, airy chocolate and vanilla cake is delicious with butter and drizzled with honey or spread with jam, an ideal breakfast accompaniment to coffee.
