Cousins (2)

Dylan is almost 6 months old, Lyra just turned 8 months old.... the age gap seems so much smaller than the last time they met although that was just a few weeks ago. Dylan is quite a lot bigger than Lyra but not mobile yet, but as he is such an excellent sitter it really felt no different having him to play than the other babies born the same week as Lyra (who don't crawl yet either).

Lyra showed off for her cousin, practically running around the room on her baby walker, climbing everything, babbling away and wolfing her lunch down with great ease. I don't think he'll be far behind. He is handling his food beautifully but carefully, he sits like a pro and is keen to be standing all the time, just as Lyra was. I have a feeling that within 6 months they'll be running around together and causing all sorts of mischief!

It was not easy to get both babies to sit still and look in generally the same direction, and as it was a bit of an afterthought and we really needed to get to the station I was pleased if surprised that I got a snap at all!

You wouldn't think that Dylan was the dribbly one looking at this though would you?!
