The Yellow Pages Came Today

I was all ready to take it straight to the recycling - after all, who on earth uses a Yellow Pages these days? But Lyra had other ideas. I think she has made very good use of it (and what remains is now in her toy box). I feel a little less bad about that wanton waste of paper now that she has had so much fun.

I'm sure Lyra will look back at this in a few years and be shocked that we once used to use a big yellow book every time we needed a telephone number. What a strange and inefficient idea...
