Summer is Advancing

I notice that our summer is advancing fast. One look in the garden or around the countryside is enough to see that the season will soon be changing into Autumn. It seems such a short time ago that I made a new trellis for our clematis to climb over on its journey around the door of the garden shed. Now the blooms have almost gone and this is one of the last ones we will see before the ravages of the winter take over once again. In the meantime though we will have our Autumn colours but not for a while yet. The foxgloves are sprouting up all over the place so there is a little bit of late summer colour still to come. Enjoy our late clematis!!
