hospital

had to take my older colleague to the hospital today. i think the work schedule and heat is finally catching up to him. furthermore, he's a bit like a little kid - have to argue with him to take a rest and stop moving at such a frantic pace.

he's feverish, so we wanted to get some western medicine for him. we were warned that simply going to the chemist will most likely not result in us receiving western medicine, but rather an herbal remedy, when taken for two months, will prevent any future ailments.

thank goodness we had our chinese colleague with us tonight - would have been a very difficult discussion with the doctor otherwise.
