Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

Life.turns Bride

We wanted to include a bride in our life.turns entries.

So we kidnapped this bride and brought her to the "Fun"ville backdrop with the beautiful bougainvillea provided by the neighbors. This bride did lots of complaining about the breeze tangling her veil, but we encouraged her not to worry or fuss.

Then we had to explain the set-up, so we showed her the diagram found here and we think she managed to come close to the required walking position. After taking several shots, we thought we might take a few more just in case. That's when her groom put his foot down and said, "That's enough! We've got a fabulous party to get to!"

So they were off and gone just that quick!

So this is entry #2 -- figure 7 -- from us for Life.turns. Everyone at "Fun"ville loves weddings, so we had to include a bride. We're hoping some of our blip friends will join this "walk" too. We had lots of fun last January as one-by-one blippers got brave enough to stand in front of the camera for "BlipTogether." It was a terrific season in Blipfoto. Don't miss this -- come on everyone! So far, right at this moment, there are only 152 "walking" frames.

We had a good, even though unproductive, day here. Our friends, Bob & Cherie, from Texas arrived in southern California late morning, so we met them for lunch before they headed for Long Beach where they will be conducting an estate sale at her mom's home. Cherie's mom died this past December. It's been quite a job for them to settle the estate since they live in Texas. They'll be here 10 days, so we hope to get to see them at least once more before they return to Tyler, Texas.

That's it for this Saturday. Tomorrow is the final Sunday in July. Would some one "slow" these summer days -- please! We're not ready for the season to end.

Good night from Southern Calirornia.
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
