Golden After the Rain

Two thunderstorms today. First one started off with light rain so my friends and I danced a while in the middle of the street. Then it just happened to hit while I was driving and I couldn't see anything through my windshield. Exciting yet scary at the same time. The roads were kind of flooded so water kept splashing up onto my car while the rain kept pouring.

Had rehearsal today because tomorrow I'm performing in a quartet at a funeral reception. Then I went with Alice and my friend Sharon to the Salvation Army to donate clothes and check out the place. I got two pairs of sunglasses for 99 cents each! That place is amazing. We also saw a case full of old Minoltas and Canons which we will DEFINITELY check out next time we go back.

Summer days are so much fun. Spending all my time out and about and driving in my car! The second thunderstorm came just now and after it subsided, the sun showed off its golden hue through the clouds. There was not much to blip because I didn't have my camera today so I decided to snap the sun.

Tomorrow morning I have my interview at Kumon for my first job! Not necessarily the most exciting job or the highest pay but I'll be satisfied with grading papers for little kids and somewhat tutoring them. I find that much better than working in a greasy place like McDonald's for the same pay.
