Break Off the Chains

Today was one of those rare productive days that come along once in a while in the summer. Started off with summer school, per usual, then I went to the grocery store to buy some food to make lunch. The recipes were a success! I had a wonderful lunch courtesy of foodnetwork.com.

I started my first college application today! I'm almost done now with just one section left to type out. It's the "optional write about yourself with up to 5,000 characters" so I'm guessing I'll just write an entire novel about me or something. I also typed up my first resume that I sent in for review. Hopefully I'll get scheduled for an interview soon. My first actual job! How exciting. :)

Besides that, I did all the stuff I usually have to do including practicing piano and all that. I'm reading the books required for school and I have go to study soon for my quiz tomorrow.

Gray skies right now so I couldn't go out to take pictures. Went back to my basement with the trusty desk lamp and decided to play with light again. I liked the result of this. Different yet cool at the same time.
