Cool
For only the second time this year, I got up early in the mornng.
I rose at 5am, and by 6.45am was someway down the M6. During that stretch, the sun rose. I have to shamefully admit that I haven't seen a proper sunrise for years - and this was a beauty! The view from the M6 in Staffordshire is excellent and it was a perfect location from which to view the sun coming up. As it majestically rose, the whole landscape was lit up with gold. Mist was rising from the fields, and the hills, houses and trees were thrown into silhouette. This was one of the most beautiful and uplifting scenes I've ever witnessed. I was a passenger in the car and had an ideal opportunity to photograph this spectacle.
Where was the camera?
In the bloody boot.
pah!
I had to make do with this lunchtime blip instead.
The weather was wonderfully warm. It was cool!
