Like daughter, like mother
You may remember from this entry, that a colleague and I were discussing the pro's and con's of two point and shoot cameras, so that she could decide which one to buy for her mother's birthday. She finally chose the Ricoh camera because she thought her mother would like the fact that you can get it it in pink.
The reason for this, it turns out, is because the colour was the overriding criterion that persuaded my colleague to buy her own camera.
And this is the photo to prove it.
Incidentally, the upshpot off all this was that after she had read my entry herself, she was so ashamed that she ordered the Lumix instead - especially after a few people has recommended it.
The very latest on this is that her supplier has let her down at the last minute, and won't be able to send the lumix on time (mum's birthday tomorrow).
If she'd gone for the pink Ricoh, it would have arrived already.
Funny old world, ain't it?
