Why does it feel like I haven't slept in 3 days? Oh, because I haven't.
Yesterday was hard. Today was better.
I am just tired enough to know I will crash when I hit the bed. This is relief. It's not the time have insomnia. My nights this week have simply run very, very late.

Today I interviewed with two places that are interested in hiring me in our new city.
They both sound very promising, only they were looking for someone to start immediately. The soonest I could start in a new city would be 4 to 5 weeks away.
So, although they were both somewhat disappointed, I was very hopeful. I had been very worried that I wouldn't find anything good in the area. I was wrong.
All three places I applied to randomly contacted me, and two were ready to offer me a job. I'd say not bad, eh? I'll keep my fingers crossed that when the time comes, the jobs will again come just as easily. There is something to be said for positive thinking.

I'm off to pick up N, and then off to sleep for me.
