Setting up ... Festival count down begins

Each year, the church yard of St John's just off Princes Street is transformed into a craft market for the duration of the Edinburgh Festivals. Today, the first of the scaffold walkways were being constructed to connect the upper terrace to the grave yard. These guys were clambering all over, just as if it were a climbing frame in a park.
