Waiting Indefinitely

What a day. After quite a huge faff with Jane trekking to the doctor at 8am we ended up going on the train rather than driving over to Suffolk to go to the Latitude Festival. All was going well till the 3rd train we were on was stopped in Colchester and we were kicked out having been told there was 'trouble with the line'. We did make it eventually (after sitting around for a couple of hours) to find the tent Jane had bought had already broken when the others were putting it up for us. 2 new crossbars, 1 new pole and a couple new tent pegs later (the 'green ten company' had a stall there -thankfully, so they could give out new things to everyone) we had something that vaguely resembled a functioning tent and were absolutely exhausted!
