Shadows under water

After yesterday's excess of sunbathing, my skin still hurts all over. I never learn...

We went to another river beach in the morning, but I just rested by the shadow, while watching children having fun in the water and listening to the cicadas. It's a lovely sound and the one I most associate with Summer.

In the afternoon, though, I was felling less sore, so I went for a swim in V's uncle's pool. The shadows on the underwater stairs were producing a nice effect as you can see.

Before driving back to Lisbon, we still had time for more snails, bread, sangria and ice-cream.

All in all, a marvelous (and colestherol-filled) weekend.
