Hover-fly species

I think this is one of the Syrphidae (Hover-flies) and is a variant of one I've posted before called Volucella bombylans.
I had to use a different camera today; yesterday my best camera and 180 macro fell off the tripod. This little accident snapped the lens and did something major to the camera. I'm very accident-prone so my insurance company usually pays out more for broken camera gear and lenses than I pay in premiums ..thank goodness it doesn't work like car insurance and you lose a no-claims bonus.
