Woke up as normal, getting everything done for the morning routine when suddenly I remembered... it was our wedding anniversary! Hooray! We don't really celebrate anniversaries and birthdays unless they are important ones but I was pleased that I remembered before Michael (who straight afterwards was writing out a cheque and asked for the date ... seriously).

I had to work late, and Michael was at the end of year show so I met up with him when I got off and managed to catch the tail end of the performance of Godspell - very impressive! The productions has been moved from the college hall to the Civic Center in Wolverhampton. The students really have upped their game in the last few years as testimony from the size of the audience and feedback from them.

Since both parents were away, the kid did play. After school she went to a friends house until the grandparents picked her up and took her out to eat.

Michael and I shared an anniversary pretzel together where he gave me this gorgeous pin from the Wolverhampton Art Gallery. You might find it funny that there is only one wedding ring shown - Michael doesn't wear his so we have it put away with Charlotte's Christening gown (we think).
