Seed heads, Clematis tangutica
This Clematis tangutica scrambles up a variegated maple in our garden. I find the seed heads as striking as the masses of lantern-shaped yellow flowers that bloom in spring and reappear again in late summer.
Thanks to Tuscany, I remembered I had them.
