Plastic wrap
I've been trying to get an interesting shot of these silage bales since they arrived in our yard back at the start of the Summer. Stacked in a big pyramid, black and shiny, you would think it woould be a doddle to take a pic of them. Somehow I have never cracked it.
Today the sun shone at the right angle and the plastic picked up the reflection of our green byre door. I really liked the abstract result.
The bales are for the cows and calves which hang out in our byre over winter. Not ours, they just lodge. Doesn't seem that long since they headed out to pasture but I expect they will be back within a month or so.
Of course the added bonus is another years supply of manure for the garden...!
