Rain filtered ducks

Was trying to take a pic of the mad slate coloured sky dumping huge amounts of rain but the water pouring down the window got in the way.

Then the ducks got in the way. They get very excited when it rains, run around like mad things and then like to mess about in muddy puddles. Unlike the hens who retreat grumpily to the shelter of their ark.

I quite like the way that some bits of the picture are sharp and the rest is blurry like a damp watercolour.


We've realised how little rain we have had over the Summer when we noticed the sound of the rain on the window. Almost didn't recognise it.

I think I like hearing the return of Autumn.
