Hot summer nights

Just perfect for taking the boat and heading out to sea. Tonight we ended up on a very very small island -- maybe 50 meters long and about 15m wide. We set up the grill and cooked dinner. The kids swam off the rocks and the adults marveled at the tranquility. Food was ready and demolished a few minutes before sunset. Then a made dash home before it gets too late.

The image is so yellow as the sun was very low above the sea and everything was loaded with color.

I liked the image above, even though no one was looking at the camera (unlike this one here). I also snapped a sunset shot while riding home at speed.

I should perhaps have posted an image of Viggo as he won his second tennis game today, despite crashing from a 5-2 game lead to have to go to a tie-break. I think the heat got to him as he had not eaten anything and his water was finished. At 6 all we got him to drink some water and eat a yoghurt and he came out firing. He told me that he pretended he was playing football and scoring goals .. he aimed where the goalie (i.e. the other player) wasn't and hit the ball there. You can see how worn out he is (maybe this color one is better).

Other than getting to bed very late, it's been another great day.
