Grape vines

On my way back to the station this morning I passed by this flourishing display of grapevines growing up the railings outside the town hall for this part of Brussels. They looked remarkably healthy, with lots of grapes developing. This was within a few metres of Brussels inner ring road!

I'm not very fond of air-conditioning, but I was very glad to get into it in the Eurostar departure area and then the train. Off to a friend's house in Harringay for the night - but sitting in the little suburban train waiting to leave King's Cross I heard an announcement for an East Coast train going to Edinburgh. Oh, I was sorely tempted to do a runner!
