Immortal memories

Yesterday i arrived at the party in our local park. There were not many people about at the time and i noticed that someone had tied a cross of flowers to a tree using a bit of string. I thought it was such a lovely tribute that it made me wonder how long ago they had been put there and in memory of whom??

During the party, when over two thousand people passed through the park i was worried that they may be torn down or get damaged ... i popped back there this evening to find that, thankfully, everyone had respected the memorial.

Whoever these flowers are a tribute to, they live on, in memory at least!!
