Joe becomes a victim

On Monday Joe and I went for our normal 2nd walk of the day. We had hardly got half way through our walk when Joe was attacked by a pair of Bull Mastiffs - he stood no chance! I screamed for help to try to release the jaws of one of the animals from around Joe's head and chest.

We were eventually able to release Joe from the grip of the Bull Mastiff but Joe had suffered considerably from his ordeal. In fact, Joe's Vet described to me how close one of his wounds was to his jugular vein. Thank goodness he survived! But he's full of painkiller and both injected and oral antibiotic.

A BIG thank you to all who helped and supported Joe and I through our ordeal - I think he's on the mend!
