Our final stop - Europa Cup action!

So it's all over (sob, sob) but we ended it in high hopes of a Europa cup trophy - heading to Hamburg to see the mighty Fulham take on Atletico Madrid. Unfortunately, it wasn't to be our day and Atletico took the top spot. George was also unfortunately pretty ill with nastiness so we had a pretty tame day of drinking and an early night, followed by a shocking hotel bill the next morning!

All in all, it was great to be able to slowly make our way back to normal life and Hamburg is a lovely city - we went to see a photography display and found a cool pub to drink ale and play backgammon. Oh, the rock and roll lifestyle we live ;-)

Not sure how to round up this blog now and we do hope to carry it on with many more life adventures. It's been an amazing experience with so many memories made and tales to tell. What a fantastic journey and what a wonderful person to have shared it all with, cheers Georgeh.
