Chocks away!!!

A WWII US Air Force plane. Not actually in flight but at the Palm Springs WWII Air Musuem, which we visited this morning. Our 'flight' this afternoon came courtesy of the aerial tramway to the crest of San Jacinto Wilderness State Park. More spectacular scenery with some fantastic views, which nearly made it on to here but which were beaten by the plane.
