What a brilliant day. Managed to get several items off the ever growing to do list completed before getting ready for Rainbows.

Tonight, I took our Rainbows to the local country park for what was suppose to be a treasure hunt. Last time I did this, Michael was able to take off work and we put signs up all around the park with clues for the two teams to follow. This time, he couldn't get off work so it was going to be a low-key version.

But instead, it was all about this tree. Before we started (after the 87 head count!) I asked the girls who has ever climbed a tree before. Only one girl (a farmer's daughter) raised their hand. After our outing, they all put their hands up!

And as an added bonus, there was a den that someone started next to the climbing tree, so when not climbing high, they worked as a team on the den.

Absolutely brilliant time was had by all the girls, and the parents that helped.

And we only got lost once.
