And then it rained

We had lunch in the pub and as we left the pub the rain started. As always our waterproofs were in the car miles away. So Mike dashed into the nearest tat shop and picked up an umbrella. How much I asked (its a fairly sturdy brolly) £2.99 he says. Bargain or so I thought, then I put it up and realised it was covered in England flags !

The rain did not cease for the rest of the day. Not just little drip drops but a veritable torrent.

The brolly was discarded in disgust outside the front door of the cottage for the night. :-)
