The Big Country

At this time of the year, you can really appreciate why they call Scotland the big country. Huge skies and huge rolling clouds. For much of the week the sky has been just like this - huge high white fluffy clouds to the left and the dark bringers of rain to the other side.

Up in the right hand corner of this picture is the spot where the Special Occasion will take place next Saturday. The forecast says rain, so we shall have to shove up the gazebos, slap on our stiff upper lips and party on regardless!

Looking forward to Peopletwitcher's son's birthday party and BBQ tomorrow. 18 years old, they don't half grow up quick these days
