THE READER

A trip to return my library book today and I can honestly say I had never noticed this lady kneeling above the archway entrance before, Perhaps I have stopped scurrying head down amongst the tourists and shoppers these blip-days. I will have to see if there is a story about her, but there were more pieces of sculpture too and I will return on a non-market day to investigate further, when I am in less danger of being knocked off my feet by the bustling hordes on the pavement.
