dinosaurs of the great lakes

meet sassy. my favorite of our office pets, 4 lake sturgeon. since i started this americorps position, i have quickly become obsessed with these fish. sturgeon are the dinosaurs of the great lakes. a species unchanged for the past 150 million years. the females live to be 120 years old (the males only average 50 years, sorry guys) and don?t start reproducing until they are around 20 or 30, similar to us humans. if you haven?t heard of them, or don?t know much about them ? do some research. if your mind works anything like mine, you will be amazed.
