Help Needed...

As I returned from the weekly food shop, the phone rang. It was a nice lady calling on behalf of The Anthony Nolan Trust.

In case there is anyone out there who doesn't know what it is, this Trust was created in 1974 because of the mother of a little boy who was born in 1971 with an inherited blood disorder - there was no register in those days & finding a match was a very difficult task. They collect a list of willing people & test possible matches for those in need of bone marrow/stem cell donation.

I have been on the register for many years now and so today I set up a direct debit to help with the blood typing/stem cell collection process, so that they can add more possible matches to the register. People are willing, but funds are limited.
