Food for the Soul

We stopped for lunch at this quaint little restaurant just at the foot of Kennon road aptly named Soul Food Cafe. It is supposed to be a last chance to feed a hungry stomach before the hour long drive up to Baguio. We had a chance to meet and strike up a conversation with the owner and he told us that he wanted his cafe to be a rest not just for the physically weary but also for those seeking refuge from a stressful day. Each plate ordered had a little note on it. This was mine. It seemed to be really meant for me since my natal was the next day. ;-)
