Yo Heave Ho!

A section of the sidewalk in front of our house sank and had to be replaced before someone fell over it and injured themselves. The city put the sidewalk in, but unfortunately it is our responsibility to maintain it. So Bob conscripted our grandson Bryan to do the bit with the sledgehammer. Working together they got quite a bit done today, but it dark fell before the job was complete. Hopefully Bryan will come back tomorrow to help finish the job.

Now that Bryan has completed his four year enlistment in the Army, he is making plans to go to college in Australia. Since that's not exactly just down the road, we don't expect to see him very often, so it was nice to have him pop in today to help his grandfather on this project.

I went to the Arboretum today to blip the bees, blossoms, and butterflies and captured some images I liked a lot, but Bryan gets blip honors today for all the hard work he did.
