Another little yellow bird

The other day I blipped a little yellow warbler. Today's blip is also a little yellow bird, but this one is a goldfinch. This was my day for capturing birds. First, the goldfinch. Then this song sparrow, and finally a whirlybird. I was surprised by the feet dangling from the whirlybird. I didn't see them until I looked at the picture on my computer screen. I'm not sure what it was doing, but it hovered over the road construction site for a long time.

More rain in Ohio today. The river looked like it was almost at flood stage when I crossed the bridge, and flood warnings were announced. More is expected tonight, but clearing for the holiday weekend. Yay!
