Thistle Down

Smiles

Smiles are the catching point,
Of a personality.
They weigh heavily on others,
And will never let you be.

For loving expression of the eyes,
Have a meaning of greater length.
To see the face light up,
It offers a greater strength.

Stretching the mouth,
In a gay salute.
And offering your hand,
In that every day route.

Will bring to your door-step,
The favors of many.
Endowing your friendship,
With riches in plenty.

So give...of your smiles,
That earth might impart.
Soft gestures of love,
To the depths of your heart.
