A day of surprises! :)

I've had a lovely day of surprises!

Jade was off school with a sprained ankle... well I think it's a sprain (tree climbing at the weekend then falling out!) She's going to the med centre in the morning as there's no sign of it getiing better quick. She was good company despite her limping about and even helped with the dusting, inbetween resting, which was nice!

My friend Jane popped round for a coffee this afternoon... another nice surprise... we sat in the lovely sunshine which has been a rarety of recent months.

Jamie came home with lots of post for me, which I always love but some of it was prizes towards a quiz I'm doing for SSAFA next month, for which I sent loads of charity request letters! I got some great stuff and I'm really pleased!

Then my friend Lisa popped over with an Autumnal Bouquet for me which is gorgeous! It is to say thank you for babysitting the plumbers whilst they replaced their boiler last week as they were both at work! I feel so lucky, I love flowers and it wasn't like I did anything apart from move all the ornaments out of reach from Archie, make a couple of coffee's and watch the TV!

I then had a fantastic horse riding lesson and came home to Jamie who had cooked the dinnner!
